'The Flash' Adds Ray Fisher's Cyborg

The verdict on “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice” seems to mostly break down this way: the movie was terrible, but the director’s cut makes it slightly better (though some argue it’s totally better). But can we agree on one thing? Cyborg was the least memorable and most confusing element of that movie. Zack Snyder‘s decision to cram in Justice League cameos was already a bit misguided, but I honestly was totally confused about Cyborg and his powers. Does he control the internet? No idea. And he wasn’t the most intriguing presence either. But Warner Bros. wants to make him an integral part of their DC Films universe.

Variety reports that Ray Fisher‘s Cyborg will have in role in “The Flash.” Whether it’s just a fleeting cameo or a full blown supporting part isn’t yet clear, but at the very least, it looks like there will be more for Cyborg to do beyond “Justice League” and before his apparently still planned solo movie.

And speaking of “Justice League,” Henry Cavill got fans talking with an Instagram post of what appears to be Superman’s new, black costume, which diehards will know is what the character sported after he was revived following his “death.” Which is cool I guess, but I think most people are less concerned with Superman’s look, than the character finally acting like the heroic Man Of Steel from the pages of the comic.

“Justice League” opens on November 17, 2017 and “The Flash” arrives on March 16, 2018.
