In this clips we see:
– Sam Levine as PFC Hirschberg standing in a line with the other seven soldiers to be selected as Basterds. Also later on running with what appears to be an M60 machine gun.
– Eli Roth — who seems to have been already chosen as Lt. Aldo Raine’s (Brad Pitt) second-in-command — as Sgt. Donnie Donowitz aka the Bear Jew, swinging a baseball bat and clubbing a Nazi upside the head. Plus barking orders at the others.
– Diane Kruger as Bridget von Hammersmark, the German film star/ Allied spy wielding a pistol.
– A brief shot as Til Schweiger as Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz, the German born Basterd recruited by Pitt
– Melanie Laurent as Shosanna running through woods with her face all bloody
– B.J. Novack as PFC Utivich in line yelling, “Sir, yes sir!” to Pitt’s barking commands.
– August Diehl as Major Deiter Hellstrom having his head banged into a table.
– Martin Wuttke as Adolf Hitler screaming “Nein! Nein! Nein!”
Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” hits theaters August 21 and the full-blown trailer will hit this Friday in front of “Friday The 13th.” Maybe we’ll go see something and then sneak into the Jason movie just for those first few moments.
