Dropping a record number of f-bombs, and continuing to fuel discussion about whether or not it’s condoning or indicting the wild behavior within it, “The Wolf Of Wall Street” is undeniably a wild ride. Yes, we know it’s in theaters already, but in case you haven’t caught up or just want a refresher on the madness of the movie, there’s still a lot digest right at home.
Kicking things off, Break has a new clip from the film, centering on the first date between Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Jordan Belfort and his eventual wife Naomi, played by Margot Robbie. It’s a sultry little head-to-head between the pair, who make a pretty explosive on-screen couple.
Meanwhile, real life and the film continue to overlap. In case you missed it, Christina McDowell, the daughter of convicted financial felon, Thomas T. Prousalis, penned an open letter calling out the filmmakers for celebrating the lifestyle and crimes of Jordan Belfort and his gang, showing few of the consequences. Well, Prousalis has responded and it’s not pretty. You can read the whole thing over at Elite Daily, but essentially, he accuses his daughter of getting many of the facts wrong (ie. he never actually worked Oakmont Stratton) and even misunderstanding what he was convicted for (with Prousalis maintaining his innocence and noting he’s trying to overturn his conviction). It’s definitely worth a read.
Lastly, Matthew McConaughey‘s brief turn as the masturbation advocating mentor Mark Hanna has been a highlight for many, but how about the meeting the real deal? Movies.com has pointed us toward an extensive interview, running over an hour long, between the real Mark Hanna and NY Talk Radio host Isabelle Dungan. They discuss it all, from the partying to the scheming and much more.
Check it all out below along with a new TV spot and lots of new pictures from the film. “The Wolf Of Wall Street” is now in theaters.
