With all the talk of the upcoming “Suspiria” remake from award-winning filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, film fans are hopefully starting to rediscover the classic Dario Argento original film. Well, if you’re a fan of the Argento original, you probably are aware of the band Goblin. The Italian rock band created the incredible score for the classic horror film. And in honor of the film’s upcoming remake, Goblin is hitting the road to perform the entire original soundtrack live for fans.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the band has lined up a series of dates in the UK and North America, where they’ll perform a live score for the film, as well as an additional live set. The “Suspiria” score is one of the more legendary horror film scores from that era. Goblin composed the score with the help of Argento. Argento and the band had previously worked on his film “Deep Red,” and worked on subsequent films.
Interestingly enough, the score for “Suspiria” was written before the film was even in production. Needless to say, if you’re excited for the upcoming remake, or just a massive fan of the original, you’ll want to check out Goblin on their upcoming tour.
