'The Good, The Bad, The Weird' Wins Top Honors At Fantastic Fest

There’s three more days to go in the Fantastic Fest Film Festival, but winners have already been announced.

One film we had tickets to see at TIFF, but had to skip because we had to visit our parents (yes, we weren’t hell spawn, believe it or not), “The Good, The Bad, The Weird,” took the main audience award. “JCVD” (the Jean-Claude Van Damme documentary).

The buzzed-about horror film, “Let The Right One In,” that /Film got all excited about, won the Top Horror film award. Danish flick, “How To Get Rid Of The Others” took top award in the Fantastic Features (whatever that means). Generally, Fantastic Fest doesn’t seem like our type of bag, as it seems more in the geek mien of things, but the cream of the crop are usually worth checking out and like we said, we tried to see ‘The Weird,’ but parental obligations stepped in.
