Jamie Lee Curtis Tries To Escape Michael Myers' Grasp In First Look At The 'Halloween' Reboot

The buzz has steadily been building around the upcoming horror reboot/sequel “Halloween.” Not much is known about the plot of the film, but what we do know is that a trailer that was shown at CinemaCon was reportedly terrifying. That bodes well for the film, as we approach it’s October release. And with a trailer set to debut later this week, the folks behind the film are starting to share some quick peeks at what fans might expect.

First, we have a little teaser for the trailer. These are commonplace nowadays, as studios just love to tease the trailer and drum up some hype. All this little 15-second teaser does is focus on the iconic mask of Michael Myers and assures fans that there are no drastic changes to the look of the killer. Obviously, this is good news.

But the real meat and potatoes of the first look are the pictures that were shared on social media. Again, the focus seems to be placed on Myers as we get a better look at the killer. He’s back in his signature mask and coveralls, except now his mask has seen better days. It’s dingy and worn out. Since the film is set decades after the first, it’s safe to assume that Myers has been holding on to the same mask all this time.

Other pictures show Jamie Lee Curtis on set and in the film. We see the legendary actress play an older Laurie Strode as she attempts to escape from Michael’s grasp. The inclusion of Curtis also lent some credibility to this production, and judging by the comments made by the actress, she’s very pleased with the outcome.
