At Coachella this spring, Radiohead, Beyoncé, and Kendrick Lamar will each headline their own evenings, anchors for the hippest and biggest offerings the music world has at the moment. But in a twist worthy of the Christopher Nolan movies he often scores, Hans Zimmer will be there too. The composer has been busy lately, touring with an orchestra, and playing his arena worthy scores. And last night, he brought his show to late night television.
“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” hosted Zimmer and his massive group last night, where they performed the majestic theme for “Planet Earth II.” That they were even able to cram into the studio space is a miracle, but the late night show made the most of it with lots of swooping camera shots. “Planet Earth II” launches on February 18th.
