Hans Zimmer Teases More Work On 'Batman v. Superman' And Danny Elfman Also Contributing To 'Age Of Ultron' Score

Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of JusticeIt’s been a while since we’ve had some concrete news about "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice," as megafans continue to make guesses about when the first teaser trailer will drop. But today comes some intel from composer Hans Zimmer about what we can expect from his work therein. As we know, he’s teaming with Junkie XL on the Zack Snyder film, with his collaborator taking on the Batman-related music and Zimmer composing Superman-centric music after having worked on "Man Of Steel." But that’s not all.

Interviewed on the Oscar red carpet Sunday night, Zimmer revealed two more characters get theme music: Wonder Woman and Aquaman. "I’m trying," he told MTV. "Put it that way. We’re in early days. But yes, of course, ideally that is what you want to do." Check out his chat below.

Meanwhile, what was just a new poster for "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" has revealed some interesting tidbits of information in those tiny credits. Most notable (via Comic Book Movie) is that Danny Elfman is providing "additional material" to Brian Tyler‘s score. Meanwhile, it looks like Anthony Mackie’s Falcon will be making an appearance in the movie as he gets a text block credit, which seems to have bene a pleasant surprise for the actor who hit Twitter not long after (with his tweet since deleted).

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" arrives on March 25, 2016, with "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" coming soon on May 1st.
