When we talk about action films, there are quite a few themes and tropes that pop up frequently. There’s the “one last mission.” Also, let’s not forget about “getting the team back together.” Of course, there’s also the “this time it’s personal.” So, if these are phrases that make you giddy, you’re going to love “Hard Kill.”

As seen in the trailer for “Hard Kill,” the film is about an ex-marine that has to get the team back together for one last mission against a mysterious terrorist after some technology that will change the world. They’re joined by Bruce Willis, who plays an aging rich guy that joins the team because the terrorist kidnapped his daughter, making this mission especially personal. I mean, even if you don’t watch the trailer, you can picture this film clearly in your mind based on the premise and your knowledge of action tropes. And you definitely wouldn’t be far off.
Joining Wilis in the cast are Jesse Metcalfe as the leader of this elite military group and Natalie Eva Marie, a former WWE superstar-turned-action film badass. “Hard Kill” is directed by Matt Eskandari, based on a script by Joe Russo and Chris LaMont. Eskandari has been Willis’ go-to filmmaker in recent years, having worked with the actor on two previous features including “Survive the Night” and “Trauma Center.”
