Ok, it’s been reported at many different lengths actually and sorry, we didn’t have a stop-watch in the theater, but YouTube has 7 minutes of the Viola Davis/ Meryl Streep scene from “Doubt” (on further review it seems to cut a few minutes from the top) It’s the only scene in the film that Davis is in, but it was powerful enough to get her nominated for an Oscar. If you haven’t seen “Doubt” you should. It was a lot more riveting than most of the Hollywood Oscar-bait this year and the performances were all stellar — there’s a reason why every major cast member, including Amy Adams and Phillip Seymour Hoffman all nabbed themselves Academy nominations. It’s probably not as powerful when not in the context of the film (especially if you haven’t seen it), but it is top-shelf stuff.
