You might have missed it, but last Friday rumors started flying that Warner Bros. were planning to split "Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" into two films. It all started with a photo posted to Imgur, purporting to be a screengrab from the first teaser trailer for the superhero movie (rumored to drop in front of "Jupiter Ascending"), showing two new titles: "Batman v. Superman Part I: Enter The Knight" and "Batman v. Superman Part II: Dawn Of Justice." Even more, this image indicated that ‘Enter The Knight’ would open on October 23rd of this year. And considering the film’s lengthy production schedule, many thought the scenario of Warner Bros. deciding to halve the movie might be plausible, but not so according to Clark Kent himself, Henry Cavill.
Sitting down for a chat with Variety’s film editor Ramin Setoodeh over the weekend, Cavill denied that ‘Batman v. Superman’ was getting chopped, and shared a few other comments about the movie (via Batman News):

Meanwhile, The Wrap reports that Viola Davis is signing a multiple-picture deal to play Amanda Waller in "Suicide Squad" and beyond, because, obviously. The actress herself had already confirmed she would be taking the role earlier this month. Inking franchise movie contracts with options for more down the line is standard protocol these days, so no surprise here.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" arrives on March 25, 2016 and "Suicide Squad" follows on August 5, 2016.
