Once upon a time, “The Fast And The Furious” franchise was a modestly successful car racing series that was a far cry from the blockbuster behemoth we know it as today. In fact, “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” could’ve arguably ended it all. The third installment remains the least successful entry in the series (by a large margin; it couldn’t even crack $160 million worldwide), and accidentally made Universal realize that Vin Diesel (who makes a brief cameo) and the rest of his pals were perhaps more crucial to the property than anybody realized. Who knew?

It all makes great material for Screen Junkies, who give the film the Honest Trailer treatment. 2006 was a heady time when Lil Bow Wow could land a role in a major studio movie, but his presence couldn’t help save ‘Tokyo Drift’ from being dumb and far less fun than the rest of the movies. I mean, as far as I know, because I’ve never watched one of these things, and you’ll probably have to pay me at this point to sit through eight ‘Fast and Furious’ jams.
