When it was announced that Jason Momoa was joining the cast of “Fast & Furious 10,” it was sort of a “duh” moment, right? Of course, Momoa was set to star opposite Vin Diesel in an action film. These ‘Fast’ films love their muscly hunks and Momoa might be one of the hunkiest muscle men in Hollywood right now. And apparently, according to the actor, he’s going to enjoy his time in the ‘Fast’ film because he’ll get to flex those muscles as the villain.

Speaking to ET (via /Film), Jason Momoa dropped some new details about his role in the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise. Much like John Cena in “F9,” it appears Momoa is being brought on to play the bad guy in the untitled tenth ‘Fast’ film.
“I’m gonna go do ‘Fast 10,’ that’s gonna be fun … it’s fun, I get to play the bad guy, which I haven’t gotten to do for a while,” said Momoa. “Now, I get to be the bad boy. A very flamboyant bad boy.”
While it’s unclear who his villain might be in the new film, we are going to assume it’ll include a guy who is good at throwing punches, drives way too fast, and probably has a familial relationship with someone from the cast. Perhaps he’ll be the long-lost brother of Dwayne Johnson’s Hobbs character? That might work since Johnson himself refuses to appear in the new film.
We’ll have to wait and see as “Fast and Furious 10” isn’t expected to arrive in theaters until May 19, 2023.
