Javier Bardem Is Apparently From 'The Matrix' In New Poster For 'Skyfall' Plus Behind-The-Scenes Photos

nullJames Bond is fifty years old this year, though he doesn't show his age one bit, as the franchise is faster and fresher than ever. And with a new movie just a couple of months away, more and more bits and pieces from "Skyfall" are starting to arrive, making us both excited and…concerned.

The biggest unknown factor in the upcoming film right now is the villain Silva, played by a blonde, slightly effeminate Javier Bardem. While Bond villains have ranged from the ridiculous to the very grounded and real, it seems Silva is somewhere in between. There's no doubt he's menacing, as evinced in the last trailer, but he also seems kind of vague, and this trenchcoat-wearing, gun-wielding, sorta "The Matrix"-y look on the newest banner for the movie isn't really helping that vibe at all. But then again, never doubt Bardem who proved with Anton Chigurh in "No Country For Old Men" that evil lurks beneath the most ordinary of facades. Check out a bigger look below.

Meanwhile, a few behind-the-scenes snaps have emerged from the upcoming book "Bond On Set," which should be fairly self-explanatory. It proves a couple of things: that everyone seems to have had a lot of fun and that Berenice Marlohe is going to be a fantasy future girlfriend for a lot of dudes.

"Skyfall" opens on October 26th in the U.K., and November 9th in the U.S. [007/MI6/Empire]nullnullnullnullnullnullnullnull
