Jonah Hill Calls The Media “Corny” For Creating ‘Star Wars’ Beef: “Baby Yoda & I Are Dear Friends”

Last week, there was a profile about Jonah Hill published, and in it, the actor talked about how Leonardo DiCaprio was trying to get him to watch “The Mandalorian” while filming “Don’t Look Up.” Hill admitted that Baby Yoda was cute but said, “I just didn’t give a fuck because I didn’t know anything that it was about.” Of course, media outlets loved talking about this story because it’s a bit ridiculous and kinda funny. However, Jonah Hill himself pointed out one somewhat misleading headline to show just how “corny” the media can be.

In a post on Instagram, Jonah Hill called out Variety’s post about the Leonardo DiCaprio/‘Mandalorian’ for trying to make it seem like he’s feuding with Baby Yoda. Hill isn’t having any of that, and he wants to make sure people know that he and Grogu (Baby Yoda’s real name, of course) are buds.

“LOL is there anything cornier than literally all media. They’re literally trying to create beef between me and Baby Yoda,” wrote Hill. “I’m getting ahead of it. I wanna say this once on the record officially: Baby Yoda and I are dear friends and text at least once a week. We may not be text everyday type of friends and yes Covid put a strain on our friendship, but we are all good. And that’s all I will say on this matter! Now please respect our privacy at this time.”

So, there you have it, folks. Not only is Jonah Hill cool with Baby Yoda, but they’re actually texting friends. And who can’t relate to a friendship falling off due to COVID? We’ve all been there. If nothing else, we should applaud Hill’s openness and, frankly, let’s try to use our power for good. Let’s bring these two pals back together! So, if you’re reading this Baby Yoda (and I don’t blame you if you’re not because you might see how some media outlets have perpetuated this fake news about you and Jonah Hill), reach out to Hill. Maybe the two of you can go out there and get some new clothes. We all know Hill is the king of streetwear, and with all due respect, your choice of outerwear isn’t really cutting it.
