Juliette Lewis, Thomas Dekker, Laurence Leboeuf & Max Thieriot Set For Road Trip Pic 'Foreverland'

Juliette Lewis, Thomas Dekker (“Kaboom“), French Canadian actress Laurence Leboeuf & Max Thieriot (“My Soul To Take“) are set to star in the road trip drama “Foreverland.”

Directed by Canadian helmer Max McGuire, the pic will tell the story of “a young man stricken with cystic fibrosis who travels with the sister of his fallen friend to deliver his friend’s ashes to a healing shrine in Mexico.” We’re not sure what’s in the water that our friends north of the border are drinking, but Canadians seems to be loving the terminal disease road trip movies. A couple of years ago “One Week” with Joshua Jackson (don’t worry if you never heard of it) became a pretty big hit in the country, as it chronicled a man dying of cancer who has one week to live and decides to boot it across the country.

Thieriot will play the lead of Will Rankin with Leboeuf playing the sister; no word yet on the roles Lewis and Dekker will play but we presume they will be people the leads meet along the way. Lensing will take place in British Columbia and move to Baja, Mexico in late February. [THR]
