Earlier this month, a rather hilariously Sad! “protest” took place in front of Warner Bros., when a woeful thirteen people demanded that the studio release the (non-existent) Zack Sndyer cut of “Justice League.” Well, those misguided enthusiasts will have something to look forward to when the movie hits Blu-ray. Sort of.

The listing for the Walmart exclusive Blu-ray release reveals that it will contain (in addition to some collectible pins!) exactly one “bonus scene not seen in theaters.” Sorry fanboys, this is a far cry from the extra footage that padded out “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice” and “Suicide Squad.” It’s no secret that lots of material was left out (and unfinished) from “Justice League,” but it doesn’t look like Warner Bros. is in any hurry to release it. I can’t imagine that rumored Joss Whedon extended cut will become a reality either.
No word yet if other extras or special scenes will part of exclusive releases to other retailers (which would be ultimate kick to the groin for “Justice League” fans), but we’ll soon find out. No date yet for physical media, but the blockbuster flop goes digital on January 30th. [via CBR]
