What else is there to say about “Justice League” that hasn’t been said already? It seemed like we were all done kicking the dead horse that is DC Films‘ failed superhero teamup….until “Black Panther” opened this weekend and earned more in its four day days than “Justice League” did in its entire domestic run. Ouch.
Well, pouring salt on the wound is Screen Junkies who have unveiled their latest Honest Trailer. As they point out, even if you think “Justice League” is just okay, that’s not good enough for a movie that features the biggest name brand superheroes on the planet: Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. And it’s especially not good enough coming off the heels of the very successful “Wonder Woman,” which gave audiences the complex superheroine they wanted, in a very well made movie, only to reprise the character rather listlessly in “Justice League.” We’re not even getting into the now infamous CGI removal of Henry Cavill’s mustache, and the other countless issues that plagued the film.
Take one last run at “Justice League” with this Honest Trailer, and let us never speak of it again.
