Katie Holmes is in talks to join Adam Sandler and Al Pacino in the funny man’s upcoming dual role comedy “Jack & Jill.”
Wait a minute. Did we miss something somewhere? When did Al Pacino join Adam Sandler’s dual role comedy “Jack & Jill”? Admittedly it’s not a project we care about and given that it’s going to be directed by longtime Sandler buddy Dennis Dugan (“Grown Ups,” “You Don’t Mess With The Zohan,” “Beverly Hills Ninja”) it will probably be awful but surely we would’ve picked up on Pacino joining the film. At any rate we must have missed it; THR isn’t making much of it.
The holiday themed film will focus on Jack who has to deal with his twin sister Jill who visits for Thanksgiving and then doesn’t leave. Sandler will play both roles. Sigh. Holmes would play his wife while Pacino is set to appear as himself.
No release dates have been set yet but surely Thanksgiving 2011 is pretty good guess, right?
