Kevin Hart Wants Dwayne Johnson To Find A Role For Him In ‘Black Adam’

Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson have chemistry together, there’s no denying that. The question is, how long until we get a remake of “Twins” with Johnson and Hart playing Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, but that’s a question for another time. After collaborating in “Central Intelligence,” two “Jumanji” films and briefly in “Hobbs & Shaw” Kevin Hart now wants Dwayne Johnson to find a role for him in the upcoming “Black Adam.”

While talking about “Jumanji: The Next Level” with ET Canada, Kevin Hart reacted to Dwayne Johnson’s role in the film “Black Adam,” based on the DC character of the same name.
“We’ve already discussed it, we talked about it earlier, so we’re finding that out. No matter what, he’s not going to do it and not put me in it. How selfish would that be?” In response, Johnson said, “We’ve got to find the part for Kevin in ‘Black Adam’ within the DC Universe.” Let the speculation begin!

It appears ET isn’t the only outlet interested in whether Kevin Hart may be playing a superhero. ComicBook.com also asked the question, prompting Hart to ask Johnson ”Does he have a sidekick? Well he’s gotta have somebody.” To which Johnson replied by coming up with the name “Chocolate Charlie” for Hart’s character.

We do know that “Black Adam” will introduce audiences to the JSA, or the Justice Society of America, the original superhero team which consisted of characters such as Green Lantern (a different one), The Flash (no, not that one), Doctor Fate, The Hourman, The Spectre, Hawkman (really), The Atom and others. Despite being very much a villain, at one point Black Adam joined the JSA as an antihero with old-fashioned and militant ideals of justice. Based on Johnson’s insistence on calling the character a hero, it is easy to assume this is the path the movie is going to take.

At this time we have absolutely no clue why or how Black Adam would end up fighting the bunch of kids who turn into superheroes from “Shazam!”
