'Killers Of The Flower Moon': John Lithgow Joins The Cast Of Martin Scorsese's Crime Drama

Two-time Oscar nominee John Lithgow is joining the cast of Martin Scorsese’s American Western crime drama film “Killers Of The Flower Moon.” The film has been shooting since May of this year but keeps adding members to its cast. Last week Brendan Fraser was revealed to be part of the ensemble, set in 1920s Oklahoma, and based on the David Grann best-seller, which depicts a string of brutal crimes— the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation— that came to be known as the Reign of Terror. Lithgow will play Prosecutor Leaward, and he’s coming off a great performance in HBO’s “Perry Mason” as a defense attorney.
