'The Kindness Of Strangers' Exclusive Clip: Zoe Kazan Escapes An Abusive Relationship In This Touching Drama

When you’re young, your parents always tell you to be wary of strangers. Of course, they meant the ones that drive unmarked vans and offer candy. But in the new film, “The Kindness of Strangers,” it’s the people that you don’t know that might be the ones that can help you the most.

With the release of ‘Kindness’ just around the corner, we’re thrilled to offer our readers an exclusive clip from the film, which highlights the situation that one woman finds herself in that leads her to depend on strangers for assistance. The clip features actress Zoe Kazan (always amazing) as a young mother that will do anything for her sons, especially if the situation involves leaving her abusive husband. It’s clear from the clip that the mother makes the brave decision to leave her husband behind and venture into the unknown to protect her children. This leads the woman on a journey that involves strangers in New York City, with problems of their own, who take it upon themselves to help this young mother.

The film is written and directed by Lone Scherfig, who is probably best known for her films “Italian for Beginners” and “An Education.” “The Kindness of Strangers” debuted at last year’s Berlin Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Bear.

“The Kindness of Strangers” arrives in theaters and On Demand on February 14.

Here’s the synopsis:
