Joining Kazan in the cast of the film are Andrea Riseborough, Caleb Landry Jones, Tahar Rahim, Jay Baruchel, and Bill Nighy. The film is written and directed by Lone Scherfig, who is probably best known for her films “Italian for Beginners” and “An Education.” “The Kindness of Strangers” debuted at last year’s Berlin Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Bear.
