Kristin Davis Doesn't Think 'Sex & The City 3' Is Going To Happen. Boo Hoo.

Apparently the chances of a “Sex and the City 3” are looking slim (or maybe they’ve just got a new stylist), at least according to actress Kristin Davis. Asked by E! Online if there were plans for another installment, she replied “I don’t think so, not that I know of.” For her part, she sounds regretful “I wish it was so that we were continuing but I don’t know.” She went on to say that the lack of movement on a second sequel is due to “Sex and the City 2″‘s less-than-expected domestic box office, because even with the $300m international take she claims for it, it seemingly has not been deemed successful enough to warrant another visit – something Davis blames on the media: “there was so much hype, not coming from us, but the media hyped it up and then they tore it down.” Heartbreaking. It remains to be seen if capitalism will survive the (please oh please) end of this franchise. — Jessica Kiang
