The cast is being firmly rounded out for the new David Wain comedy “Wanderlust,” starring Paul Rudd, Jennifer Aniston, and Justin Theroux.
Variety reports that Lauren Ambrose, best known for her role in the highly acclaimed HBO series “Six Feet Under,” will play a member of the commune that Aniston and Rudd come in contact with during their move from New York to Atlanta.
It will mark a reunion of sorts for Ambrose and writer Ken Marino (who co-scripted with Wain), as the two were part of Katherine Dieckman’s “Diggers,” a tale focusing on the exploits of four Long Island clam diggers. Aside from that, she has also been a part of “Where The Wild Things Are,” voicing KW, and the awful Paul Giamatti comedy “Cold Souls.”
Ambrose is a talent we don’t see enough of and hopefully this will open the door to some more consistent projects. A shooting date still has not been revealed, but we’re expecting it to be relatively soon.
