Leslie Mann & 'Game Of Thrones' Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Find ‘The Other Woman’ With Cameron Diaz

nullIt looks like not only are things coming together for Cameron Diaz to appear as the title character in the upcoming comedy “The Other Woman,” fellow lady comedian Leslie Mann and up-to-now serious Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, best known for his role in “Game Of Thrones,” are in talks to star opposite Diaz as man and wife. Kristen Wiig was once reported to be under consideration for what may now be Mann’s role — but maybe that’s because it’s obligatory to consider Kristen Wiig for an appearance in every comedy.

“The Other Woman” will be directed by Nick Cassavetes and comes from a script penned by Melissa Stack, who wrote the 2007 Black List honoree “I Want To F— Your Sister.” The story follows a woman (Diaz) who finds out that she is “the other woman” in an extramarital affair, and teams up with her lover’s wife to seek revenge.

Just off of “This Is 40,” Mann will next be seen as a misguided mother in Sofia Coppola’s “The Bling Ring,” while Coster-Waldau was in “Mama” earlier this year, will reprise his “Game of Thrones” role on HBO on March 31st, and will continue to get more exposure in sci-fi flick “Oblivion” this April opposite Tom Cruise.
