Lindsay Lohan, Johnny Depp, Will Smith & More “Honored” With Razzie Nominations For Year’s Worst Films

With Hollywood set to unveil the Oscar nominations tomorrow morning—the same day as the Sundance Film Festival kicks off—the folks at the Razzies are doing their annual thing of thumbing their nose at the industry by unveiling their nominations of the year’s worst. And big shock here is really how tame most of their targets are this year.

Mostly focusing on big budget bombs, or movies that people have already acknowledged are pretty fucking terrible, 2014 sees the organization pin their crosshairs on the likes of Lindsay Lohan (“The Canyons,” “InAPPropriate Comedy,” “Scary Movie 5“), Johnny Depp (“The Lone Ranger“), Will Smith (“After Earth“) and more. The usually reliable Naomi Watts gets rightfully called out for her dreadful performance in “Diana,” while Adam Sandler makes his usual appearance on here too, with “Grown Ups 2” getting its fair share of nods. We wish the Razzies wouldn’t’ve made some bolder, more provocative choices (seriously, how easy of a target is “The Counselor“?) but that’s not really their thing.
