With its premiere set for this weekend at Sundance, an excerpt from Clint Mansell’s score for Park Chan-Wook’s English-language directorial debut, “Stoker,” has been released online along with a new image.
Courtesy of Milan Records, which is handling the release of the film’s soundtrack, comes a piece of Mansell’s score that runs a little over two minutes and thirty seconds, titled “In Full Bloom.” In typical Mansell fashion it’s a lush and fragile piece of music, and we’re sure it works even better in context.
The “Stoker” soundtrack, which also features original music by Philip Glass and Emily Wells, will be released on February 26th (full details here), with the film arriving in limited release on March 1st.
