Listen: Scarlett Johansson Teams With A Dead Dean Martin For "I'll Be Home Christmas"

nullTriple threat Scarlett Johansson has a Christmas present for you. The actress, soon to be feature filmmaker and singer has now joined the ranks of Bono and Natalie Cole in teaming up with dead legends to give an old classic a new spin.

During his career, Dean Martin only recorded two albums worth of holiday songs, but they seem get recycled every so often and the latest disc I'll Be Home Christmas has found some folks unwisely giving his legendary songs a contemporary twist. Why on earth "Winter Wonderland" needs to be given a "Swingin' Yuletide Mix" is beyond us, but it seems someone over at Hip-O Select has also decided, what the hell, let's get Scarlett Johansson to duet with Dino on "I'll Be Home For Christmas." And the result? Well, it's not a crime against music or anything, it's perfectly (and forgettably) pleasant but also kind of totally pointless. But hey, if you ever wondered what these two would sound like singing "together" now you know.

Anyway, the whole album is in stores now. Listen to the collaboration below. [via Boom Bap Beatnik]
