The Los Angeles Film Critics Association did that voting-on-Twitter thing, but it has all been tabulated, and no single movie dominated. Rather, the group honored a diverse array of films, ranging from blockbusters ("Mad Max: Fury Road") to arthouse fare ("45 Years"), with runner-up prizes allowing them to tip their hat to a variety of films. While "Spotlight" took Best Film and Best Screenplay, "Mad Max: Fury Road" took the most prizes, winning Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Production Design.
Meanwhile, the New York Film Critics Online went really hard for "Spotlight," giving it Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Ensemble Cast. The rest of winners went out across a handful of movies, and "Mad Max: Fury Road" took home Best Cinematography.
