The clip premiered at the show’s Comic-Con@Home panel on Saturday, and it shows Jonathan Majors‘ Atticus Freeman, Jurnee Smollett‘s Letitia and Courtney B. Vance‘s George go to a museum way after hours to find a secret doorway. The clip has major “National Treasure” vibes, until they find the secret doorway and things get creepy.

“Lovecraft Country” comes from showrunner Misha Green and is executive produced by Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams. The show centers on a search for a missing father across 1950s Jim Crow America, which evolves into a fight for survival amidst the racist terrors of white America and also plenty of terrifying Lovecraftian monsters.

The series features Jonathan Majors, fresh off his role in Spike Lee’s “Da 5 Bloods,” Jurnee Smollett-Bell, plus Wunmi Mosaku, Aunjanue Ellis, Michael Kenneth Williams (“The Wire“) and Abbey Lee (“Mad Max: Fury Road“).
