Mark Wahlberg really believes in “Transformers: Age Of Extinction.” He’s already declared that it will be the “biggest movie of 2014,” and he’s not stopping there. Chatting with IGN, Wahlberg is promising that the good stuff isn’t being given away in the trailers, and that when you plunk down your hard-earned cash, you’ll get what you paid for.
“I think a lot of times moviegoers are kind of tricked by trailers. They’ll see a cool moment and go, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to see that,’ but once they’ve seen it, they’ve seen the best bits of the movie,” he said. Adding: “I think people are definitely going to get their money’s worth, it’s well worth the wait. And I think, for the die-hard fans, they’re going to have a whole new thing to kind of look forward to in the future.” Bold words.
But that doesn’t mean Paramount is going to stop marketing. In fact, four more TV spots are here, hoping that whatever your feelings on Autobots and Decepticons, you’ll show up on opening day. “Transfomers: Age Of Extinction” arrives on June 27th.
