Earlier this week details of the standalone soundtrack were revealed, and earlier today we had a listen to the excellent single of sorts, “There Are Many Of Us” by The Lost Trees, aka ASKA, so we began to wonder when we might be able to put Spike Jonze’s beautiful short film “I’m Here” on our DVD shelf. And thanks to a reader tip, now we have our answer.
McSweeney’s is currently taking pre-orders for a soon-to-be-shipping expansive CD/DVD/Book combo for “I’m Here” that should take care of everything you’ve ever wanted from Spike Jonze’s film all in one fell swoop. Featuring the soundtrack, the film (plus extras) as well as behind-the-scenes photos and ephemera this looks like the package to get. No word yet on a firm release date but according to the McSweeney’s site, pre-orders will be shipped this month.
You can order the set over at the McSweeney’s site right now and read full details about the set after the jump:
Filled with gorgeous photography, behind-the-scenes ephemera, and funny, inspiring interviews, There Are Many of Us celebrates the uniquely spontaneous making of Spike Jonze’s new movie I’m Here, a boy-meets-girl love story, set in LA, experienced by robots. The book includes an original CD soundtrack as well as a DVD of the thirty-minute movie I’m Here, with special bonus content.
