It looks like the mudslinging continues with Megan Fox’s departure from “Transformers 3.” The Wrap is reporting that individuals close to the production are saying Fox arrived on set as a “size 0” and looked “pale,” “underweight” and “unhealthy.” Michael Bay, who likes some meat on the bones of the women he inevitably objectifies on camera, wanted her to gain some weight and reach “size 2” or “size 4” so the camera would have more curves to pick up. Fox was apparently unable (or unwilling) to do it and she was axed from the project. Naturally, Fox’s reps deny she was underweight or looking haggard.
Things get more interesting as they also report that as of last week, Ehren Kruger’s script still had Fox’s character, Mikaela Banes, in it. Apparently, the names leaked to the press last week of potential replacements was a scare tactic to get Fox to fall in line, but now Paramount are seemingly left with egg on their faces as the plan didn’t work. We’re guessing Kruger is madly revising his script with whatever device is needed to explain Fox’s absence and the awkward Sam Witwicky’s new love interest. We’re sure it’ll win him a Pulitzer.
Regardless, Rosie Huntington-Whitely is apparently still the front-runner and has even received the approval of executive producer Steven Spielberg. As for Shia LaBeouf, he’s apparently none too pleased that he’ll be acting across from an inexperienced model as opposed to the thespian that was Fox. Perhaps, this is just karma for shitting on Spielberg and George Lucas recently.
As if this story couldn’t get more pathetic/absurd/pointless, D-list personality Heidi Montag has cut a bizarre audition tape for “Transformers 3” that shows her on a shooting range unloading rounds on some targets. She had intended to send the clip directly to Bay on Twitter, but she fucked up and now it’s all over the web. Clearly, she has never actually watched a “Transformers” film to see what Fox’s role actually entailed, but at least the plastic surgery obsessed celebrity has saved herself from the scars viewing those movies leaves behind.
