While Warner Bros.' "The Hangover Part III" is already shooting and reunites the original cast of Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha along with Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Jeffrey Tambor, Gillian Vigman, Sasha Barrese, Jamie Chung and badguy John Goodman, apparently one more last-minute addition has been made.
"Bridesmaids" and "Mike & Molly" star Melissa McCarthy is apparently in discussions to join the cast in a small role, according to Variety. However, the brief part is not set in stone due to her busy schedule over at her aforementioned CBS sitcom gig. No details are provided on the part, but we presume if it happens, it'll be tantamount to an extended cameo. McCarthy is busy and to add to her schedule is promotion duties on Universal's "Identity Thief" co-starring Jason Bateman and 20th Century Fox's "The Heat" alongside Sandra Bullock (note the trade says the film is now untitled), which come out in Q1 and Q2 of 2013, respectively.
Once again directed by Todd Phillips, the "Old School" filmmaker co-wrote the screenplay with Craig Mazin. "The Hangover Part III" is scheduled for release on May 24, 2013. Some recent (and kind of unremarkable, but whatever) set photos below.
