'Mindhunter' Season 2 First Look: Holden Ford & Bill Tench Investigate The Atlanta Child Murders In David Fincher's Netflix Series

One of 2019’s most anticipated TV releases is the upcoming second season of “Mindhunter.” The Netflix period drama takes place decades ago and follows the birth of behavioral analysis in relation to the study of serial killers. Featuring some of the best acting on any series and a mixture of true crime with fiction, “Mindhunter” is a unique experience that should be at the top of everyone’s Netflix queue.

Now, with the new season only a month away, Netflix has released a first look at the second batch of episodes of “Mindhunter.” Over the course of the upcoming 9 episodes, we’ll follow FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench, along with an assist from psychologist Wendy Carr, as they investigate the infamous Atlanta Child Murders of the ‘80s. And as you can see in the pictures below, the series puts our heroes deep in South as they use their groundbreaking skills to help apprehend one of the worst killers in US history.

The series stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv, Joe Tuttle, Albert Jones, Stacey Roca, Michael Cerveris, Lauren Glazier, and Sierra McClain. Episodes of Season 2 of “Mindhunter” come from co-creator David Fincher, Andrew Dominik, and Carl Franklin.

“Mindhunter” Season 2 returns on August 16 to Netflix. Seriously, if you don’t have this one on your radar, make sure you do because this series is one of the best things on any screen.
