TBS‘ American anthology comedy television series, “Miracle Workers,” based on the writings of humorist Simon Rich, is an odd little show. It’s not the most well-known show on TV, but entering its third season, it’s clearly doing something right for the network.

Plus, if you don’t know it, the cast alone is intriguing and filled with great players. The series stars ore cast members include Geraldine Viswanathan (“Blockers“), Daniel Radcliffe (“Harry Potter”), Karan Soni (the “Deadpool” series), Steve Buscemi (“The Death of Stalin“), Jon Bass (“Molly’s Game“), and Lolly Adefope (“Mission: Impossible – Fallout“). All of them will be returning for Season 3 of the hit TBS comedy series.

Season 1 followed two factory workers in Heaven tasked with handling humanity’s prayers after God has checked out. Season 2 was set during the Dark Ages and found the hilarity in class politics. Finally, “Miracle Workers” Season 3 is set once again in another difficult period in history, particularly American history — the Oregon Trail, filled with promise but also peril.

Following the paradigm of previous seasons, “Miracle Workers: Oregon Trail” finds the cast playing brand new characters. The new storyline follows a preacher and his wife after they team up with an outlaw to lead a wagon out west along the Oregon Trail in hopes of finding fortune and prosperity.

The third season of the top-rated anthology comedy series “Miracle Workers,” this time transporting cast members Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass to the American Old West. Set in the year 1844, “Miracle Workers: Oregon Trail” follows an idealistic small-town preacher (Radcliffe) who teams up with a wanted outlaw (Buscemi) and an adventurous prairie wife (Viswanathan) to lead a wagon train west on the Oregon Trail across an American landscape which, much like today, is fraught with both promise and peril.
