More NSFW Posters For Gaspar Noe's 3D 'Love' Plus The Official Director's Statement

LoveTonight, at midnight, attendees of the Cannes Film Festival will get their first taste of Gaspar Noe‘s 3D “Love.” Already, the buzz is brewing, thanks to pornographic posters and the first clip featuring a three-way makeout with a sixteen year-old (Noe knows how to push those buttons). And now, a couple more of those provocative sales posters have surfaced (via Films Actu).

If you missed the headline, this is NSFW stuff, with producers Wild Bunch doing their best to draw raised eyebrows toward the project, and succeeding. But Noe seems to have more emotional and slightly less carnal things on his mind. Last year, he described it as “a very sentimental erotic film,” in an interview with Bomb. Adding that it’s “a very, very naturalistic love story, even if the style is not going to be naturalistic. It will be a love story seen from a sexual point of view.”

Meanwhile, in his Director’s Note for the movie, Noe stresses that his movie — shot in CinemaScope — wants to delve into both the emotional and physical extremes of a relationship, with 3D acting as a method to allow an “immersive” experience for the viewer.

Check out some new pics plus the one sheets below, followed by Noe’s statement. Alchemy will release “Love” in the U.S. — no release date has been set.
