Recently, MUBI announced that the streaming service will release the long-awaited feature from Dolan, “Matthias & Maxime,” in August after its acclaimed premiere at last year’s Cannes and its subsequent run on the festival circuit. As the title suggests, “Matthias & Maxime” follows the story of two friends, as their relationship evolves and could jeopardize their friendship and the status of their social circle.
