Catching up and fulfilling out music-new quota before the blog police shut us down. R&B superstar Ne-Yo will star, executive-produce and write the soundtrack to the upcoming music-driven romance, “Venice Beach.” According to THR/via MTV, Duane Adler (“Step Up” and “Save the Last Dance” films) is writing the film, which tells us this is even more reason not to give a shit cause those are films we can’t stand cause we’re not thirteen year old girls. Paul Hunter who has helmed music videos for Eminem, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez will direct. ‘Venice’ will center on romance, R&B, and woman who loses her musically talented sister in a tragic car accident. Expect lots of over-the-top melodrama, dance-offs and crying/singing in the rain.
