'Need For Speed' Soundtrack Features Kid Cudi, Aloe Blacc & More Plus New Clip & Featurette

Need For Speed

Coming around the bend and heading into cinemas is “Need For Speed,” and the question is whether or not the millions and millions of console fans who have spent hours tinkering with their cars and driving them on tracks around the world will get off the couch to see this. It’s an eternal question that movie studios face when adapting video games, and DreamWorks is really trying hard to lure in the core.

Yet another featurette and clip have dropped from the film, taking folks behind the scenes while also sharing a snippet from the race-fueled movie. It’s Aaron Paul‘s first post-“Breaking Bad” blockbuster and it’s certainly a go for broke effort in many regards. Except when it comes to the official soundtrack (via THR), which runs a meager four songs, two of which are covers by Aloe Blacc, with a cut from Kid Cudi (who’s in the movie) and another cover by someone named Jamie N. Commons. If you really want, you buy this thing on March 11th but we sort of wondered why anyone bothered at all.

“Need For Speed” hits on March 14th. Watch below.

“Need for Speed” Soundtrack Tracklist
Aloe Blacc: “Fortunate Son”
Jamie N. Commons: “All Along the Watchtower” (Alex Da Kid Remix)
Aloe Blacc: “Back in the Saddle”
Kid Cudi and Skylar Grey: “Hero”
