New Images From 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' Plus Martin Scorsese's Rock 'N' Roll HBO Show Gets Showrunners

When we’re 70, we hope we’re half as busy as Martin Scorsese. The ever-moving filmmaker is currently busy prepping his forthcoming “The Wolf of Wall Street“—with some new images from the movie about one debauchery driven financial mogul landing today—and as always, he already has his eye on what’s coming next.

For a few years now over at HBO, a show has been brewing combining the powers of “Boardwalk Empire” producer and writer, Scorsese and Terence Winter (respectively), along with the input of the everlasting cool Mick Jagger. Earlier this year, Bobby Cannavale landed the lead as Rick, a cocaine-snorting record executive, in the “Casino”-like show set in the music biz of the 1970s. And now, with pilot gearing up to shoot in early 2014—with Scorsese directing, hell yeah—writer-directors Brian Koppelman and David Levien have been brought in as showrunners, Deadline reports.

The pair have teamed on a number of pictures including “The Girlfriend Experience,” “Ocean’s Thirteen,” “Rounders” and this fall’s “Runner Runner,” and have previous TV experience as the producers and writers of the short-lived ESPN series “Tilt.” And while the show isn’t formally greenlit yet, this kind of move usually suggests the pieces are being put in place. Now how about a title?

We’ll be eager to see how that shapes up, but until then, here’s a few more snaps from ‘Wall Street’ featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill. It opens on November 15th.
