New Images Of Captain America, Black Panther, Black Widow And More In 'Captain America: Civil War'

Captain America: Civil War"We’ve saved the world but we also caused so much damage and cost lives and there are some people who think the collateral damage isn’t worth it," Chris Evans told EW, essentially describing what comes between his character and Iron Man and leads to the showdown in "Captain America: Civil War." Indeed, the Avengers will be divided against themselves in the upcoming Marvel flick, which brings back a lot of familiar faces, and one new one — Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman

“He’s definitely not the life of the party in this instance,” the actor teased about his upcoming appearance. “I think this is something true of the comic book character and the movie. You never quite know where he stands. There’s always a bit of concealing and mystery. So I think mysterious is more his boat. Not to say there’s not charm and he can’t be a ladies’ man and all that. It’s more like if there is humor, it’s more like James Bond.”

So, it sounds like a more sombre outing this time out, and Evans takes it one step further, hinting at dire consequences for all involved. "They do respect each other but they’re just very different men," he explained about the relationship between Captain America and Iron Man. "You do have those moments of connection, like at the end of ‘Age of Ultron‘ when I say, ‘I will miss you, Tony.’ There is a love and respect there … and that’s what makes this so tragic."

"Captain America: Civil War" opens on May 6, 2016. Check out a batch of new images below.
