New Images Of James Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz & Mila Kunis In 'Oz The Great And Powerful'

nullIt's taken a while, especially given that the film comes out about four months from now, but some proper looks at James Franco, Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz in Sam Raimi's "Oz The Great And Powerful" are here. And yes, another look at a monkey.

While this entry won't have the Scarecrow, Tin Man or other recognizable faces from the classic, it will approach the yellow brick road from a different angle, with Franco playing a struggling magician who is transported to the world of Oz, where he is mistaken for the next king of Emerald City. He'll have to battle the evil witches Theodora (Kunis) and Evanora (Weisz), while Glinda The Good Witch (Williams) will probably lend him a helping hand.

Audiences will also see Chinatown, which is not what you're thinking. "Everything in the land, the houses and people made of china, have been broken by the Wicked Witch and her army," Sam Raimi tells USA Today. "Oscar find the pieces of this china doll and puts them together, and hence the China Girl (voiced by Joey King) is saved."

Coming for you in 3D, "Oz The Great And Powerful" lands in theaters on March 8, 2013.nullnullnull
