New Images: 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' Goes '70s & 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' Teases Sinister 6

Welcome to Movie Marketing V. 3.0, or whatever. While folks like J.J. Abrams continue to aim for at least some surprises when it comes to their films, playing close to the chest for as long as possible, we live in a time where fans want everything right now (see the complaints that Disney didn’t reveal anything about “Star Wars: Episode 7” at D23). Well, the folks at Fox and Sony and directors Bryan Singer and Marc Webb are doing their best to placate the diehard audience. As cameras rolled on both “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” tweets, set pics, behind-the-scenes imagery and official images flowed out from both camps and today

The first official look at ’70s versions of Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), James McAvoy (Charles Xavier) and Nicholas Hoult (Beast) has arrived, and holy haircuts (note this movie just wrapped last week). Meanwhile, a few more teasers from ‘Spidey’ are here with Paul Giamatti doing his thing as Rhino, Dane DeHaan shooting a scene (?!), Stan Lee making his requisite appearance and a pretty clear hint towards Sinister 6, the highly rumored villain supergroup that the franchise is apparently building toward. Drink ’em all in below.

‘Future Past’ arrives on May 23, 2014 with ‘Spider-Man’ slinging its web first on May 2, 2014. [Rope Of Silicon/ComingSoon]
