A new international trailer for Todd Phillips’ “Due Date” has landed and while amusing and funny, don’t get too excited.
Essentially, the first 20 seconds of the trailer are new and the rest we’ve already seen in previous trailers, but hell, not every reader will realize this and it is a picture we’re looking forward to.
In case you haven’t already heard, “Due Date” stars Robert Downey Jr. as a high-strung man forced to hitch a ride with an aspiring actor (Zach Galiafinakis) and his cute French bulldog on a road trip in order to make it to his child’s birth on time. The picture also co-stars Jamie Foxx, Michelle Monaghan and has appearances by Juliette Lewis, Danny McBride, RZA and Alan Arkin.
The film is hits theaters, on November 5. To be honest half of us are excited and half of us think it looks like “The Hangover” redux (Phillips directed that comedy smash) meets “Planes Trains & Automobiles.” We all just hope there’s tons of laughs. And hell, Downey Jr. and Galifianakis are an inspired pairing.
