Had things gone the way they were supposed to, Leonardo DiCaprio would be pulling double duty this December, starring not only in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained," but also in Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby." But alas, additional shooting pushed the movie back from a previously scheduled Christmas Day release to a date next spring. So until then, we'll just have to look at gorgeous people being gorgeous.
Warner Bros. has released a new still for the movie, with Jay and Daisy looking tenderly at each other, presumably before everything goes to shit. Of course, this is based on the American classic by F. Scott Fitzgerald, with students around the world hoping this movie can help them shortcut through any English class assignments. But even if not, co-star Jason Clarke promises it'll be awesome. "It's extraordinary. Baz is a complete filmmaker. It's in 3D and I have never seen anything like this in 3D," Clarke told us. "Fuck, you remember the detail in 'Moulin Rouge!'? It's not just like boom, boom, boom – the lampshades, everything is coming out…The furniture and everything is built for 3D. That's the level he's coming at you with."
Will Luhrmann make you a believer? Find out on May 10, 2013. [Collider]
