“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” is just over a month away from slinging into theaters and Sony has mobilized their marketing team to make it their number one priority. Even with over four weeks away from seeing the movie, well, we’ve already seen a lot from the sequel just through the smorgasbord of clips, trailers and promos. The studio appears determined to leave no stone unturned, no plot point undiscovered, with more material having arrived over the past few days.
Leading off is yet another look at Dane DeHaan‘s Green Goblin, who could probably use a visit to the dentist. There are also two different featurettes, one focused on Oscorp, which Andrew Garfield describes in no uncertain terms as “Hell. It’s the big, corporate overlord that’s ruining our world.” There’s also another peek behind-the-scenes reel focused on Peter Parker’s superpowers. “There’s an emotional component to the superhero,” director Marc Webb contemplates. “It’s not even super-heroism. It’s something we all can have, something we all have the capacity to have.”
If that’s not enough, Evian has launched their weird tie-in to the movie, which you’ll just have to see for yourself.
