Nicolas Winding Refn + Ryan Gosling + L.A. neo-noir. If that can’t get the blood flowing to your genitals we can’t help you, but for everyone else, you already know “Drive” is gonna be great, so here’s another little taste to tide you over.
FilmDistrict has dropped a new image from the film on Facebook and a couple of new TV spots, which offer some brief glimpses of new scenes from the film. Co-starring Carey Mulligan, Ron Perlman, Bryan Cranston, Albert Brooks, Christina Hendricks and Oscar Issac, the movie tells the story of a Hollywood stunt driver, who moonlights as a wheelman and thus gets mixed up in some dirty business. If you want to dig deeper, Movieline recently put together a pretty nifty interactive map of the Los Angeles locations, but it’s spoiler-y so you want to bookmark it until you’ve seen the film.
“Drive” plays TIFF and will open on September 16th. TV spots and a bigger version of the image below.
