New Posters For 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Unveiled, 'Justice League' Starts Shooting In April

Batman V. SupermanEarlier this month, the buzz around "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" was dealt a blow by a report that the studio was so concerned with the film, they might change up their overall DC Films game plan. Drew McWeeny at HitFix posited that, based on what he had been hearing, "I would be surprised if ‘Justice League’ starts shooting when they say it’s going to, and I would be equally surprised if Zack Snyder directed it… ‘Justice League’ is going to get moved back and that Ben Affleck Batman movie, that’s what’s going to end up in that spot." The studio has formally announced that production on "Justice League" will start lensing on April 11th. The plan to get cameras rolling in the spring has been in the books for a while now, and given how much pre-production has likely already been done, it would’ve required a lot for Warner Bros. to turn that ship around on a dime. However, Snyder is well aware of the expectations that are on his shoulders.

"It seems like an easy thing to do at first glance, the idea that, ‘Oh, we just get the rest of the superheroes in there.’ But you have to [establish] a world where they can exist," he told EW, while doubling down that WB’s slate — which includes solo films for "Cyborg," "Aquaman," "Shazam," and more — isn’t changing. “The studio really wants us to try and pace it up, as far as — now we have an idea where we’re going,” he said.

However, we’ll see where WB’s confidence is at once they see the numbers and reactions for ‘Dawn Of Justice’ when it opens on March 25th. Check out some new posters below, plus Snyder’s latest tweet from the set of "Justice League."
