While we keep waiting to see what happens to the robots that escaped from the park in “Westworld,” HBO released a new teaser on Friday that contains hints for the upcoming season 3. This being a show full of twists and turns, the teaser doesn’t show any of the characters or settings we are familiar with. Instead, the teaser introduces us to a Silicon Valley-style company called Incite Inc.

The clip, titled “Incite Anthem” functions as a minute-long advertisement for Incite Inc. and it features Jefferson Mays as someone called Liam Dempsey Sr. talking about the benefits of the company and its “unprecedented computing abilities, analyzing data for life’s most unsolvable problems.” He talks about being able to find people a job, and protect the climate, basically your typical tech startup that claims it can solve every problem imaginable. The clip is also complemented by a new website for the fictional company, which is sure to be full of hints for the new season.
It probably sounds too good to be true, and it remains to be seen if they can solve the problem of the sentient robots living amongst us. So far, the only other company we know about from the world of “Westworld” is Delos, the creators of immersive parks like Westworld itself and the AI Hosts that lived in the park prior to the events of the last season.

Here’s the entire speech from the clip, which is full of vague statements that feel right at home with the mysterious tone of the show:
“The world is complex, complicated, messy but life doesn’t have to be. The future is powered by you and we know you. Incite is different. We’re not Silicon Valley vaporware. We have unprecedented computing capabilities, analyzing data for life’s most unsolvable problems. We can protect our climate and we can find you a career you can be excited about. The possibilities are limitless. With Incite, the only choice you’ll have to make is us.”
“Westworld” season 3 is scheduled to hit HBO sometime next year, but we have no specific date yet.
